Bradford Powell
Bradford Powell is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Genetics and Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research advances the implementation of genomic sequencing in varied clinical settings, with an emphasis on accurate communication of evidence throughout the process. As faculty director of UNC's Clinical GENomic analYSIS (GENYSIS) core facility, he oversees clinical analysis of genetic data for research initiatives. Within the Clinical Genome (ClinGen) resource, he co-chairs the Pediatric Actionability and Artificial Intelligence and Automation working groups. Dr. Powell also maintains active certification in Pediatrics and in Clinical Genetics and Genomics, with clinical focus on genetic conditions that predispose to pediatric cancer.
