Jackie King
Jackie King, MSHI, RHIA, CCS, CPC, COC serves as Vice President of Hospital Education and provides strategic and tactical direction and content for ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting as well as maintaining and administering the CAH and SRH certification programs offered by ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting. Jackie provides a unique perspective by having an extensive background in clinical practice, education, and training in the healthcare industry over the last 38+ years by providing nearly 500 nationwide seminars on medical records documentation for physician and outpatient medical centers, as well as small rural and critical access hospitals dealing with professional and facility coding, medical billing, Medicare compliance, and practice management-both in person and virtually across the country.
Since accepting her current position with ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting in 2019, Jackie has provided training and eLearning administration for ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting’s online and live/virtual training. She is responsible for the design and development of multiple revenue cycle and healthcare education related products, as well as a unique ICD-11 Readiness program, while still providing onsite professional training, documentation and coding audits, and project management services to rural and critical access hospitals.
Jackie’s primary areas of expertise include:
hospital, physician, and outpatient medical records documentation compliance,
training curriculum strategy and planning,
healthcare revenue cycle compliance, including medical coding and billing audits,
eLearning and Learning Management Systems design and management,
training clinical providers and their colleagues on medical records documentation, coding, and medical billing guidelines,
value-based reimbursement and ACO-related strategies.
Jackie has worked in the health care field for over 38 years in both clinical and administrative positions at small rural/critical access hospitals, RHCs and physician practices. Prior roles include Medical Imaging Technologist, Quality Management and Utilization Review Analyst, and multiple Director roles of Health Information Management; ACO Compliance; and Clinical Informatics. Jackie worked with the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) as HIM Consultant and Compliance Officer/Clinical Informatics Director for the Illinois Rural Community Care Organization (IRCCO) Accountable Care Organization (ACO) from 2016 until April of 2025, when she made the decision to devote her full attention to ARCHPRO Coding and Consulting. Rural healthcare is Jackie’s passion! She grew up in Freeport, Illinois and currently resides in Rock Falls, Illinois.
